Warner Home Video established a South Korean division in 1999 amid a wave of other major studios entering the local market. Unfortunately, despite a sizable theatrical business, physical disc sales and rentals were unable to make an impact against overwhelming illegal downloads.
To their credit, Warner stuck it out in the country long after all of the other studios abandoned ship. Warner Home Video Korea officially closed up shop in December 2008 following the disc release of The Dark Knight.
Below is the only known authorized Looney Tunes release issued in the country.
